Job Description / Responsibility
  • Responsible for overseeing the planning, management and implementation of project activities at district level.
  • Arrange and conduct the meetings at the district level.
  • Contribute to monitoring and evaluation of project activities.
  • Assist in identification of capacity building needs of project staff and provides on the job training on project issues.
  • Perform duties regarding day to day administration, personnel management
  • Maintain close contact with local elected bodies, UNOs, Judges and Magistrates, Local Government Department, local NGOs, District Facilitators of UNDP etc.
  • Provide support to AVCB Project Management Unit to ensure successful training programme (facilitate and assist to facilitate training sessions) as and when need.
  • Facilitate /assist DDLGs in holding quarterly VCMC meetings and attend so on.
  • Ensure proper procedures are duly followed and records and registers and maintained as per guide line.
  • Prepares prescribed district level compile (qualitative and quantitative) reports to the Project Coordinator.
  • Prepare district-wise monthly, quarterly and annual Village Court performance, progress and quarterly financial reports and submit these to the DF and DDLG in copying with Project Coordinator.
  • Frequent visit to project areas up to union level.
  • Supervise Upazilla and union level staff.
  • Perform all other duties as and when necessary.
Job Nature


Educational Requirements
    Masters in Social Science/ Law/ relevant subject or equivalent degree. Having two years’ working experience in Participatory capacity development field and altogether five years’ working experience. Priority will be given to candidates having working experience in Access to Justice related projects/ local government projects.
Experience Requirements
  • At least 5 year(s)
Job Requirements
    Received basic ToT, Good communicator, Good in writing both Bangla and English, Good in operating MS Office, internet etc.
